A long over due update

I know a lot of people have been wondering what has been going on with us the past few years. There are also several questions regarding the status of our website, and our intentions on future games. I will address each of these.

Since we retired from Battlefield 2 we haven't been involved in any games, but that doesn't mean we have ceased to exist. A lot of members are still on vent on a nightly basis and we hear from just about everyone at least a few times a month. This September Izzy, PhuckingDuck, Clamchop, Incognito, Meyer and myself will be in Atlanta for a little get together and to see a race. We are still here.

Our website did however leave us. The company that hosted our site went out of business and with out telling us took down their servers. We never paid for hosting in 3 years so I guess we got our moneys worth. Over the past few years the websites database has slowly fallen apart. Since the website was custom and did not receive any professional maintenance this was bound to happen. I still have a backup of our site but after it was taken down I decided it was best to finally start with what we ultimately need which is a forum driven website. VBulletin was the obvious choice as it gets regular updates, has tons of mods and a very good CMS. Over the next few months myself and several members will work on making it look for "Phaze II" like. My goal is by the end of the year to have it finished.

The last thing I will address is future games. Several of us would like to find a new game to compete in, but we just haven't found that yet. We do have some members that are done with gaming which is fine as well. You will see Phaze II playing a game one day again, but for now we just haven't found that game.
